The Mines and Mineral Department of the Government of Punjab gave an advertisement in the newspaper on April 13, 2025, to hire Lecturer and Research Officers by April 28, 2025. They want candidates with the desired qualifications to join the department and serve the nation. All the details have been given below in detail;

Prescribed Qualification:

• Lecturer (English)

MA, at least in the 2nd division, in the relevant subject from any recognized University.

• Research Officer

i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University.

ii) 1st Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency granted under the Mines Act, 1923, Rules & Regulations made thereunder.

Age:

For both posts:

Male: 23-35+5=40 years

Female: 23-35+8=43 years..

Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

One paper, an MCQ-type written test of 100 marks for a 90-minute duration.

Instructions:

1. The PPSC Important Instructions must be read regarding Application Fee, Written Test, and the Interview on the PPSC website www.ppsc.gop.pk ahead of online application.
2. The schedules of tests and syllabi, if any, shall only be issued on the official website of PPSC. Therefore, candidates must visit the PPSC website frequently for test schedules, syllabi, and other related information.
3. Employees of the federal Government or Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies of the Federal Government, and all employees of Local Bodies, will not be entitled to age concession for the period of their service in such organizations.
4. No information, shared by anyone except the PPSC’s website, is authentic; therefore, candidates must not trust any such information.
5. If required, the Shorthand Test and Typing & Proficiency Test will ONLY be held at Lahore.
6. In case an increase or decrease happens in some proposed posts by the concerned department, No Fresh Applications will be invited.
7.
