Description:
As a cash officer of a bank, you will have to perform all the following duties:
Customer Service:
Complete all financial transactions, such as deposits and withdrawals, and other non-financial tasks correctly and without any errors as per the bank’s rules and authorizations so that the customer is happy and satisfied.
Control and Compliance:
Perform all branch operations accurately following the bank’s policies and established work procedures so that the branch’s performance is improved and all rules are adhered to.
Regularly check and monitor the reports given to you to reduce risks in the branch and achieve good financial results
Branch Security:
Ensure the safety of cash wallet papers and ATMs during transactions to maintain the security of the bank and prevent any loss.
You also must immediately inform the Branch Operations Manager or Manager Teller if any transaction seems suspicious so that they can take timely action and avoid losses.
To protect the bank from financial losses, all charges should be collected from customers correctly as per the bank’s fixed charges.
Operation Execution:
Ensure that the cash in the vault follows the State Bank’s clean note policy and the established limits to avoid penalties and achieve good audit results.
It is also your duty to check the cash available in all currencies against the bank’s GL records so that there is no discrepancy and the cash account remains correct.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation in any discipline.
Experience Required:
Fresh Graduates can apply.
Skill Set Required:
The following qualities are essential for a good cash officer:
A cash officer must have the ability to communicate well with people and understand what is being said both verbally and in writing.
